General Responsibilities: Overseer of all the operations that happen at the YMCA. Whenever anyone needs something major or something is happening Nate is the one that everyone calls and reports to.
Likes: The best part about Nate's job is how he can see the difference being made in people. He laughed about this because it thought it was cliché but he said it anyways because he really felt that way. He also enjoys getting to know the people he works with and also the people that walk through the doors everyday.
Dislikes: One of his major dislikes is that he is always working no matter what. Even though he loves his job, there is times he wish he could just stop for a little bit. Nate is always on the clock no matter what.
Hours / Attire: Nate as of now is working about 60 hours a week and depending on the day he is either dressed professionally or is in his sweat outfit looking to be active and involved at the YMCA.
Benefits / Perks: Some of his benefits are healthcare and retirement are the two that he is most grateful for. One of his major perks is that he gets to workout at his convenience and take any of the classes that the YMCA is offering.
Education: Nate attended the University of Baldwin-Wallace. He majored in Sports Management.
Related Experience: Nate worked in Ashland for four years. He was also an intern at the YMCA, intern for a soccer team, interned for a soccer company, and worked for the sports information department while going through school.

Opportunity for Advancement: Nate said there was places for his advancement to go anywhere. He said he could go to a bigger YMCA and work the same job, but just be in charge of more.
Tips for Students Aspiring Towards a Similar Position:
One major tip Nate had for students was to "want to work." He said the biggest thing he sees in younger people today is that they do everything right in order to get the job, but once they get the job they do not want to work more than two hours a week. He says want to be there and do the job and do right and not complain when you know that the job includes working weekends evenings.
